The distribution of this snail reaches of the Indian Ocean to the western Pacific.
She is a maximum number of 7 cm.
This snail appears to feed on Polyclad flatworms.
Another slug that looks very similar is Philinopsis gardineri.
The difference between the two species are easy to notice the shape of the head and the length of the tail sections.

Demands the ring looks like a silk gauze from which the sand is left.
It's a kind of cocoon that has a long mucus band attached to the sandy bottom. The calls ring through the genital opening to the outside and pressed in a circular motion around the head rotated to create a cocoon-like spiral form. Ultimately, the head is from the inner part of the cocoon and turn out the left opening is closed.
