Fiabacet (Misool)

An exceptionally rich and beautiful dive site is located a short distance from the Eco resort Misool. Fiabacet is a very nice rotsrug on the surface is identified by two small rocky outcrop points. The huge variety of sea fans and large volumes make this site rifvisjes stunningly beautiful. Floating in blue are still pretty big barracuda. Regularly pass a single batfish, Napoleon wrasses, fusiliers stekelmakrelen and high hurdles.

On the north side is the steep dive. On the south side is more of a sloping reef slope. Highly recommended.

Goa Farondi (Misool)

In my introduction to the dive site we were all immediately confronted with a typical aspect of diving in Indonesia. Strong current! This made the dive is not easy.

Highlights on this dive site are two cave-like overhangs. The first is an input to 15m depth and the soil is sandy. Inside the main cave sand slopes upwards and is shallower. One can also visit the inside surface to which fresh air. Crevices in the rocks provide ventilation. Downstairs in the main cave is a small hole in the back that leads to another cave. This passage is quite small and only for very experienced divers. When we leave this great and continue to head south we find a small, 25m swim which leads to a huge rock cavity that fully opens to a huge output at the end. The marine life on this dive site is rather limited but the highlights are the caves and overhangs.

Friendly Canyon (Misool)

Three rocks standing side by side from large to small forms a dive site that also strongly exposed to flow. Most fishing operation situated on the side where the flow coming in with schools of fusiliers and other rifvisjes that food from the current harvest. Between the boulders one can let it drift into the protected zone of the flow. That is to observe marine life much beperkter.Niet really a super dive site because of the rather uncomfortable conditions which usually dive to take place.

Sardine Reef (Kri)

This dive sites is certainly rich in fish may be proved at various dive sites in the vicinity of Kri. Sardine reef is a reef slope of a small island. The flow is here regularly from the east and is optimal for the split of the flow on the eastern side of the island the water to go. Then find a place around 20 to 25 meters deep and huge shoals behold. Fusiliers, snappers zeilvin, stekelmakrelen, sweetlips are all present in large numbers. Also, whitetip reef sharks and gray reef sharks keep it up. Among the corals, we found there wobbegong shark.

Mioskon (Kri)

Very similar to sardines and reef dive the same way. Again, if possible movement from the east start the dive on the east side and the bifurcation of the current search. Again stekelmakrelen great schools, snappers, fusiliers, etc. On the southeast side at about ten meters deep, a huge font shell with a diameter of about 1m. Next door, a beautiful little rock masses including cardinal fishes between dendronepthia overhanging soft coral.

On my visit there was among the great masses of cardinal fishes also have a large wobbegong shark resting. During this dive I saw even half wobbegong.

Mike's point (Kri)

Another similar to the previous dive but here goes the reef slope of the island down to 20m depth to form a large overhang on the southeast side. Huge schools of fish back. This site is well known for a giant sweetlips school who samentroept when the flow begins to pick up. Rifles, stekelmakrelen, snappers, etc .... They are available in mass.

Cape Kri (Kri) (25m +)

Near the resort of Max Ammer we Kri cape. The main island is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef and here is the search for a dive to catch the split point of the flow. There were gray reef sharks, parrotfish bumphead, large numbers of spinner street sweepers, school stekelmakrelen, snapper, etc ....

As we dive into the shallow waters are beginning to look up a drift dive over a long distance offers a beautiful coral reef in all its beauty.

P-47 - Pulau Wai (Kri)

At the southern tip of the island is on the reef slope a little fighter from the second world war. It lies upside down with the propeller at 27m depth and 32m depth at the tail. It is intact and only slightly damaged at the bottom. Inside the cockpit instruments are visible on the wings and the board guns visible.

The wreck is something special but not really beautiful. The vegetation on it is scarce. The reef slope itself is badly damaged and there is little beautiful coral present. There is very little fish life. Only in very shallow water 2 to 3 m depth are some nice panos to see.
